Hello Gamers (formerly known as nerds)!
Welcome to my
new-ish blog. This post is meant to help those who missed the news of my
changing to the more focused subject of gaming.
I’ve decided to
make this change not long ago, sitting in class deciding it was worth a good
college try, and so this will continue until I or a colleague decides that I
was either better doing what I was, or I should do something else entirely.
I think that I
can help my readers more by doing something I love to do, critique games,
opposed to talking at you about things you probably have come up with yourself
before. This will provide a nice forum for us to get down to what really
matters, and omit all of the other extras we don’t need.
So what’s my
game plan for this new blog? I will wait for a game to come out, either play
through it myself, or see others play through it (without commentary, so I
don’t end up repeating exactly what the play-through-er is talking about, and
of course I’ll link it in for you to see as well.
I will give my
opinion of the game, as well as any fixes that I can give to make the game
smoother, more accurate to lore, or simply to make it a better working game.
When a new game
comes out, I can’t guarantee that I’ll see it right away as I am quite busy,
but when I do, or hear about a game to come soon, I’ll review it.
I should also
like to limit my critiquing of old games for the simple reason that it’s already
been done before, but I will probably go through a couple games that are my
favorite games, and if there’s a trilogy I will do them, but I’ll try to do
each game individually instead of one medley of reviews for a series with ten
plus games.
If there’s
anything you would like me to do or go over just leave me a comment, and I’ll
get it done at my soonest possibility. I can tell you that I will start out
with the Arkham trilogy from Rocksteady Games, then work my way through those.
I will not however critique MMO’s, only
single player games.
And on one final
note: Swimming has begun for me, and so has pep band, so I shall have my hands
full with life until the spring, so expect blogs on the weekends probably.
And as always:
