Hello Nerds
I think this week, I feel
a little listy. I want to help you not look like a novice, because… nobody
likes being a novice. So today’s topic: Playing through a video game.
First, before
purchasing the video game, unless you really know that you want it, you should
first do some research about the game. Find out what you’re buying, and you can
do this any way you want, I personally find a couple of play through on YouTube.
Once you’ve researched the game, and you
want to buy it, then you can buy it.
Secondly, and you may
choose to do this in step one as well, check out price. Most nerds I know aren’t
made of money, and even the ones I do wouldn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for
one game (get it…cause the made of money). So what should you do if it’s too
pricy? First, you may want to wait for a couple of months for the price to drop
along with the popularity. Another thing you can do if you really want it is
online stores like Origin and Steam. Often time the price in the store will be
bigger because of shipping and packaging, which we just don’t care about.
Thirdly, don’t play
through the game too fast, you can play any way you want, and can disagree with
me on this one, but in my opinion it’s usually pointless to get through a whole
game in one day. One reason for this is such, let’s say that you’ve saved up
for a while for this game, you buy it, unwrap it, and wait all day to install
it on your computer *if you are a console gamer, this doesn’t pertain to you*
and you play through it all record time……………well…………what to do now………Exactly!!!!!!
You now have nothing to do but replay the game, and in this case you have to
hope to the video game gods that there is some replay value to the game. If
there isn’t, than you’re pretty much out 60 bucks (usually).
Hopefully this list
will help you in the future when considering or buying games
