Why Nerds should roam free ( in the real world)

Hello Nerds!
Why do nerds have to work in the real world? More aptly, why do we have to conform to the work area, when it would be much simpler to work from home, doing what we want?
The answer is simple in theory, I believe, Nerds should be kept happy, and to do this we should get what we want, and for those who don’t fit into a normal work environment, they should have the right to work from home, doing what they want.
Hundreds of years ago, the average student would focus on what they wanted to do, farmers would send their child or children to learn the trade of farming, not farming, biology, algebra, history, sport, and how to make cakes, they simply went to learn how to farm. I understand that being exposed to many things helps us to know what we want to do, but we should at least have the right to deny some things with our education (I mean, who liked Phy. Ed.? Seriously?)
If a nerd wants do specialize in string theory, or math, or science, and they know for a fact and can prove it on paper, they should be allowed to do whatever they please. Don’t waste money and effort trying to teach a mathematical constant to a person whose favorite subject is history, they don’t mix in application.
Resistance is Futile
